United Utilities awards £7m+ AMP6 data logger contract

United Utilities has awarded a contract for the supply, installation, maintenance and data management of battery powered data loggers worth an estimated £7.15 million.

The single source framework agreement covers the supply, installation, maintenance and data management of battery powered, Atex rated data loggers in wastewater applications across the North West region.

The framework predominantly covers the water company’s requirements to monitor and deliver spill detection on non-powered assets so that United Utilities can understand and provide evidence of network performance and level data.

No information has been provided on the number of companies who tendered for the work or who the contract has been awarded to.
